Rapper MI Abaga of Nigeria has proclaimed himself to be the best rapper in Africa ahead of the release of his upcoming studio album, “Bcuz.”
On July 10, at the Vibe Concert, he declared that he would formally drop the name “MI Abaga” and adopt a new stage name to honour his legacy as the best rapper on the continent.

Abaga announced in a tweet on Thursday that he would also be revealing his new stage name in conjunction with the release of his subsequent studio album.
MI Abaga, who touts himself as the ‘undisputable’, also informed his followers that his performance on July 10 at the Vibe Concert will be his final performance under the name MI Abaga.

“After over 15 years as Mr. Incredible, I will be retiring the name “MI Abaga” and taking on a new name for my new project because my new album is hard af and it deserves a new name,” he wrote.
“My final act as MI will be a performance at The Vibe on the 10th of July, where I will celebrate my legacy as Africa’s greatest rapper.”
