After revealing in a recent interview that nothing significant is taught in Nigerian schools, Burna Boy argued that education is a hoax.
He added that rather than teaching about what happened in Africa hundreds of years ago, the curriculum frequently focuses on the history of the white man and the Queen of England.
Burna Boy defended his stance by claiming that the educational system in his country instills in its citizens a sense of helplessness and inferiority to the West.
He emphasized that lessons given to kids and teenagers have no relevance to Nigerians and said he wanted to start teaching about Nigeria’s past before the colonizers arrived.
