According to entertainment expert and artist manager Emmanuel Barnes, often known as Mr. Logic, Obrafour, who many regards as the greatest rapper in Ghana ever, handed over the reins to Sarkodie 12 years ago.
He claimed that Obrafour was and is still a working musician who has not retired, and thus it was illogical for him to have Sarkodie succeed him.
On UTV, he said that:
“Like Obrafour handing Sark a baton.” Obrafour stated that he would unwind, which Sark appropriated and used to flee.
For commercial purposes, it is incorrect. Were we not talking about that?
What does it indicate if a milk brand introduces a different brand over its own?
Remember how Sarkodie, who was then experiencing success in the industry, was named Obrafour’s heir and was dubbed the next great artist to succeed him more than ten years ago?
In a brief event recorded by the cameras and posted online, Obrafour ceremoniously handed Sarkodie his “rap crown,” symbolizing a transfer of his rule as the top local rapper to the young Sarkodie.
