Wayoosi, a veteran Ghanaian actor, has revealed that former President John Dramani Mahama once offered to fly him abroad for a kidney transplant.
According to Wayoosi, in 2016, John Mahama learned from the news that he had kidney failure.
The NDC bigwig, who was the sitting president at the time, immediately dispatched one of his ministers to pay his hospital bills.

He also assured him that if he does not recover, he would have him flown out of the country for a kidney transplant.
In a YouTube interview, the actor also slammed critics who accuse him of being politicized for expressing gratitude to former President John Dramani Mahama.
He emphasized that politicizing his unique relationship with John Mahama is hypocritical because they would not mind receiving assistance from people regardless of their political affiliation.
