Kwame Baffoe, chairman of the NPP’s Bono region, also known as Abronye DC, has expressed dissatisfaction with his economic situation following Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s election as president.
Despite his best efforts and despite making some enemies along the way, he claims that the President who has been in office throughout his tenure has not been fair to him or provided him with opportunities to improve his life.
As a result, he has no intention of voting for anyone who receives the President’s endorsement, because if elected, that person will ignore him in the same way that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has.

In an interview with Accra’s Hot FM, Abronye said that people who disagreed with the president’s agenda had been promoted and given new opportunities, while he remained in obscurity.
Worryingly, in his attempt to help Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo become president, he has created enemies for himself, and these opponents are now decision-makers in the president’s administration.

“Nana Addo cannot tell me who to support. I won’t even listen to him.
“People who used to insult him and say he cannot be President are better people than I am since he came to power,” he said.
Adding that “some of these people are now Chief Executives, Deputy Ministers and Ministers and they are not supporting me because of some exchange of words I had with them because of Nana Addo. Whoever will come and tell me Nana Addo says we should vote for this or that I will spit in your face,” he told Hot FM in an interview.
