On July 20, 2022, Sabinus—real name Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekiru—posted a photo of his Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV on social media.

The comic narrowly escaped death, but his car’s bonnet was severely damaged. A few law enforcement officers were also seen encircling his car, while onlookers expressed sympathy.
