
Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s most prolific player, has signed the book of condolences for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
In the presence of the British High Commissioner, Harriet Thompson, the former Sunderland forward, who is also the African player with the most World Cup goals, signed the book at the British High Commission in Accra in honor of the late Queen.

Gyan stated in a tweet informing his fans of this new development:
“I signed the book of condolences for the Great Queen’s death on behalf of my family, the football family, and my fans.”
