Despite his advanced age, Ghana’s current president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has stated that he will not hesitate to marry a woman from the Volta Region.
In an exclusive interview with one of the Volta Region’s radio stations, Nana Addo explained that the desire to marry a woman from the Volta Region has been a long-held one and that not even the passage of time has dimmed that desire.

The president went on to say that seeing the female presenter who was interviewing him reaffirmed his desire.
“You know my basic position that I’ve taken, and seeing you, of course, it’s heightened it: my determination to marry in the Volta Region, and I keep on knocking on the door, looking forward to the day the door will be open. We’ll keep on till the day the door is open,”
Nana Addo was apparently joking, but some Ghanaians took his harmless words to heart.

Some of his internet critics have chastised him for ignoring his basic duties as President of the Republic and now looking for a second wife.
Nana Yaa Brefo has also come down hard on the lady who interviewed Nana Addo, calling her a “naughty” girl for flirting with the president on live radio.
