Ghana’s president, Nana Addo, was heckled on the stage of the 2022 Global Citizen Festival in Accra’s Black Star Square. H.E. Nana Addo finished his keynote address to jeers from the audience.

He spoke about the Ghanaian government’s efforts to eradicate poverty and maintain national unity.

His Excellency spoke about the effects of climate change and the Russian-Ukraine war on Ghana’s and the world’s economies.
