The renowned lawyer has agreed to present individuals suspected of collaborating with the embattled Aisha Huang in illegally mining mineral resources in Ghana.

Lucy Ekeleba Blay, a private attorney, testified in court that she was representing Freddy Blay in the case of Aisha Huang’s four accomplices, Shi Yang, Shi Meizhi, Li Wei Zuo, and another.
Aisha Huang is presenting herself to Nkrabea Effah Dartey, a prominent NPP member, on her behalf.
Her Ladyship Lydia Osei Marfo denied bail on behalf of the four defendants, stating that because they are foreign nationals with no significant financial or social ties to the area covered by the court, they may fail to appear for their scheduled court appearances if granted bail.

Three defendants have entered their pleas, with the fourth being postponed due to a lack of a Vietnamese interpreter.
Aisha Huang and her associates’ detention has been extended until November 24, 2022.
The state is prepared to resolve the case quickly, and the Attorney-General, Godfred Yeboah Dame, told the court that the state is eager to continue trying the case every day.
The judge overseeing the case “also signaled his willingness to conduct the case in such manner,” he continued.
