Nana Asiamah Hanson, better known as “Bulldog,” the former artist manager of dancehall artist Shatta Wale, has taken the artist to court for defamation.
Bulldog has filed a defamation suit against Shatta Wale in the Accra High Court following the artist’s recent comments on his Facebook page about the death of Fennec Okyere.
On Wednesday, November 2, the “ON GOD” hitmaker took to social media to accuse Bulldog of being responsible for the death of Fennec Okyere, the former manager of rapper Kwaw Kese.
“Bull Dog, since you are leaking secrets, you will tell Ghanaians what happened to Fenicks’ (sic) murder!” he wrote. “And I’m not joking this time!!”
“I am prepared to tell the court about what you told me about you and your men, as well as how you planned that stupid act, so get ready.” This Akufo-Addo will not allow a murderer (sic) on our streets! Watch how this plays out!!! “You can’t beat the time!”
Bulldog filed a writ in the Accra High Court on Monday, November 7, asking the court to order Shatta Wale to retract his “defamatory” words and apologize publicly to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is also seeking a permanent injunction to prevent Shatta Wale from making defamatory comments about him.
