Although Samini did not name anyone when he slammed the composers of the Black Stars theme song, which was designed to aid their World Cup campaign this year, King Promise has chosen to take the innuendoes for himself.
In a previous article published on www.cornergist.com, Samini expressed dissatisfaction with the current World Cup theme song created for the Black Stars thus far.
Although this online portal has yet to hear the songs, which were reportedly composed separately by King Promise and Akwaboah, veteran Ghanaian artist Samini believes they are far below par.
Taking to Twitter, Samini expressed his disappointment with the songs he has heard thus far, claiming that if he had been contacted, he would have done a far better job.
In this new development, King Promise, whose Black Stars (Bring Back the Love) campaign has been accepted and supported by the Ghana Football Association, has subtly responded to Samini‘s negative attitudes toward him.
He wrote, ” Idols become Rivals … Sad.”
