Traders have thrown up their hands in despair after a fire destroyed several Kantamanto shops, destroying both property and goods.
Kantamanto Market, one of Ghana’s most popular markets, has been destroyed by fire on numerous occasions.

According to reports, the fire began in the early hours of Tuesday, November 29, 2022, and destroyed several structures in the market, as well as the goods contained within these structures.
According to reports, firefighters arrived on time but found it difficult to extinguish the fire after exhausting several tanks of water.
Traders and nearby residents were said to have carried basins of water to put out the fire after the fire department ran out of water. The cause of the fire, however, is unknown.
