The captain of the Black Stars, Andre Dede Ayew, has finally responded to the Black Stars’ defeat against Uruguay, which resulted in the team’s exit.
Yesterday was a sad day for Ghanaians, as the Black Stars team lost to Uruguay in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Dede Ayew expressed his disappointment in their defeat and disqualification in a press conference following the game yesterday. He said he expected the team to perform better than they did yesterday. He said everyone on the team was to blame for the defeat and apologized to Ghanaians for leaving the game.
“I’m disappointed because we had the opportunity to get to the next stage . The penalty I missed is difficult to take, the game was based on details and we did not get it right”.
Dede Ayew made this remark following the loss to Uruguay. Although Uruguay scored two goals against Ghana, they did not qualify because South Korea scored two goals against Portugal, giving them six points in the group.
Uruguay, on the other hand, had only four points on the group table, resulting in their elimination from the game.
