
After his deteriorating health condition became public, Coach Sellas Tetteh received GHC 50,000 in financial assistance from a benefactor.
The coach who assisted in the Under-20 World Cup victory in 2009 complained about not being compensated for his efforts.
Alpha Lotto, a private lotto operator, has donated GH50,000 to support Sellas Tetteh and thank him for his contributions to Ghana football.

“Alpha Lotto was heartbroken when we heard the coach and national asset crying in the media of difficulty,” said the Alpha Lotto representative who presented the check to Silas Tetteh.
As a result, as part of Alpha Lotto’s corporate social responsibility, we present “Borboo” with a Gh 50,000 check.
“We anticipate that a large portion of the widow’s mite will be used to cover his medical expenses and overall well-being.”
