CornerGist.com reported earlier today that a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria this morning, killing 569 people.
According to reports, a powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria crushed many families in their sleep. Christian Atsu, a former member of the Black Stars national team, is said to be among the victims trapped as search and rescue efforts begin.
