Following a controversial video of her expressing her description of a ‘ashawo,’ a diasporan-based woman has caused a social media frenzy.
The young Nigerian lady, who is clearly a vociferous content creator, set the internet on fire when she said in the trending video that any lady who asks her boyfriend for money is an ashawo.
According to her, most women feel entitled to their boyfriend’s money, which is why they prefer to date financially secure men rather than struggling young men trying to get out of the trenches.

In the video, she says she can’t understand why some women expect to get sexual pleasure from men while also collecting money from them afterward.
In the latter part of the video, the woman insisted that in this day and age, a woman who hopes to rely solely on a man for her finances is nothing more than an ashawo and should seek refuge in Italy, where she can be compensated for her services.
