Speaking about Christian Atsu’s assistance to many people, Ibrahim Oppong revealed how the footballer approached him five years ago to collaborate on helping the most vulnerable.
Mr. Kwateng revealed during an interview on the GTV Breakfast show that he and Christian Atsu worked together to officially launch the Petty Offenders Project.
‘‘His dream was to see the fines of petty offenders paid to avoid the prospect of recidivism, where they have to go to prison, come back, and re-offend,’‘ he said.

‘‘He covered many people across the country’s medical and educational costs. He also provided funds for widows and orphans to launch businesses,’‘ he said.
Christian Atsu did all of these and more for a lot of people without the usual fanfare that accompanies a lot of these gestures.
