
Diana Asamoah has declared her intention to run for president of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2024 alongside whoever wins the primaries.

The gospel singer, who is also an NPP supporter, has stated her desire to be the running mate for the NPP presidential nomination.
On Saturday, February 25, she announced her intention during the latest episode of UTV’s United Showbiz entertainment show.
Meanwhile, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Dr. Afriyie Owusu Akoto, Boakye Agyarko, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Francis Addai Nimoh, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, and Kennedy Agyepong have declared their intention to run for the NPP flagbearership.

Similarly, Diana Asamoah made headlines recently when she chastised Nana Agradaa, aka Mama Pat, for making disparaging remarks about Christian Atsu’s death.
According to Diana Asamoah, Nana Agradaa should have died instead of Atsu because she is evil and worships idols.
Her remark comes after Agradaa made derogatory remarks about Atsu while explaining why he died, which he claimed had nothing to do with the earthquake.
