According to a Graphic Online report, Rauf Iddrisu, a police dispatcher, died after being involved in a collision on the Accra-Kumasi expressway on March 3, 2023.
According to authorities, the Kia Grandbird VIP bus and his Honda motorcycle collided at Osino in the Eastern Region. Rauf Iddrisu’s close friends refer to him as Mando, and at the time of the accident, he was escorting a convoy from Accra to Kumasi.

“On March 3, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m., suspect driver Samuel Boateng, 44, was in command of a Kia Grandbird VIP bus with registration number GW 9944-10 carrying passengers from Kumasi to Accra.
“On reaching a section of the road close to the Osino Police Station on the Accra-Kumasi highway, he failed to observe traffic ahead.
In the process, he collided with No. 49200 Rauf Iddrisu from Headquarters Transport, who was riding Honda motorcycle No. GP 4710 and leading a convoy from Accra to Kumasi,” according to a police situational report (SITREP).
The body was taken to the morgue at Enyiresi Government Hospital.
